The cultural touchstone that is THE COMPLETE WORKS OF WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE (ABRIDGED) was born when three inspired, charismatic comics, having honed their pass-the-hat act at Renaissance fairs, premiered their preposterous masterwork at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 1987. The show features all 37 of Shakespeare’s plays performed in just 97 minutes, by three actors. Fast paced, witty, and physical, it’s full of laughter for Shakespeare lovers and haters alike. So join our madcap performers in tights as they weave their way through all of Shakespeare’s comedies, histories and tragedies in one wild ride that will leave you breathless!
Ghostlight Theatre Ensemble encourages all community members to participate in Ghostlight productions. We believe that local live theatre should provide a supportive environment for creative expression for people of all genders, ethnicities and backgrounds. Every day, we work to ensure that Ghostlight is a safe, welcoming space where all members of our cast, creative team, production crew, volunteers and audience members can learn, grow, and create.
We are proactively working towards greater diversity within the cast of our shows. This is an on-going process, and we recognize that it is our responsibility to broaden our reach to ensure that BIPOC and LGBTQ+ community members are aware of upcoming auditions, and to ensure that they feel welcome to join our productions. We are also broadening our reach to attract BIPOC directors and production team members. We know this can make a significant difference in generating greater diversity at our auditions.
