Welcome to Ghostlight Theatre Ensemble‚Äôs senior program, Performing Arts Senior Academy (PASA)! Our first class, Steppin' on Stage - Small Play Production, will be offered in both Brentwood and Antioch, making it easy to participate. Whether you are a seasoned performer, or are "steppin' on stage" for the very first time, you're sure to learn something new in a fun and engaging environment.
This class is intended for seniors (55+) of varying experience - beginners to accomplished - providing great fun in a comfortable, no-pressure atmosphere. Each week, you will learn/review basic acting techniques through group games and other fun activities. During the last several weeks of the class, you will also work in small groups to rehearse a short play. You will have the option to perform your play either for the rest of the class or for the public as a part of Ghostlight Theatre Ensemble's upcoming Festival 10: A Treasury of 10-Minute Plays! You will also have the option of performing your play in Reader's Theatre style - memorizing is not necessary.
