Dan started his avocation in 1982 with a small part in Hello Dolly when he was vice president of a credit union in Wisconsin. He went on to try directing three years later with Camelot. Since coming West to California, he has continued his acting and directing with local groups such as Alameda Playhouse, Orinda Players, Broadway Repertory Theater, and now Ghostlight Theatre Ensemble. In addition, he co-initated the Trilogy Drama Club.
Dan has served as President for Optimist Clubs, Brentwood Art Society and currently serves on Brentwood's Art Commission. He is extremely grateful for the support of his partner in life!
Recent on-stage stints include Man of La Mancha (Ghostlight Theatre Ensemble), Crazy for You and Forbidden Broadway (Brentwood Theater Company), House of Tomorrow, Love Letters and Vintage Hitchcock: A Live 1940s Radio Play (Trilogy Drama Club).
He directed a play in Ghostlight's inaugural play festival, FESTIVAL 10 - A Treasury of 10-Minute Plays, and is now co-directing The Dixie Swim Club. He also directed Calendar Girls for Brentwood Theater Company in 2017.
