Who Should Audition?
"Participating in local community theatre has created a space for my creativity to run wild! Being part of a tight-knit theatre ensemble is the perfect embodiment of true hometown theatre. We create magic on-stage, happiness in the seats, and friendships all around. I am eternally grateful for the opportunities I have had to grow and develop my theater skills right here in the community where I live."

 Audition Monologues & Materials
Actors will also need to be able to provide information about their availability so that rehearsals can be scheduled. It is expected that most directors will want to have one rehearsal each week up until tech week, when actors will need to be available for at least a few rehearsals. Directors will work with their actors to develop rehearsal schedules. It may be possible to be cast in more than one play, depending on your availability.
  • Should sign-up for a 5-minute audition appointment via Sign-Up Genius - click HERE to schedule your audition or click the relevant button below.
  • Actors must complete a simple online audition form that can be found HERE or click the relevant button below. If available, you can also upload a headshot and theatrical resume to the form as well. Note that theatrical experience is NOT required.
  • May choose 2-3 mini monologues from the monologue packet, which can be found HERE as well as via the button below. Each monologue performed should be from a DIFFERENT PLAY. Your total performance time should not exceed 2.5 minutes. When learning each monologue, it is preferred that you memorize them. Note that each character is considered to be a different mini monologue - so for example, you might choose to perform the monologue for Mother from "Choices" and Gretel from "Open to Interpretation."
  • May wish to consider performing monologues that contrast in style, demonstrating ability with both comedy and drama.
  • May want to checkout Play Info for Auditions, which can be found HERE as well as via the button below, along with the Play Packet, which can be found HERE as well as via the button below. These will give you general information about the plays and tell you where you can read the entire play, should you wish to do so.
  • Should arrive at least 15 minutes prior to their scheduled audition time to check-in.
