Performing Arts Youth Academy (PAYA)

The Performing Arts Youth Academy is a 2-week summer program open to children and teens ages 7-17, and is geared towards students who already have performing arts experience and ability, but all interested students are encouraged to audition. We are able to accept up to 30 students in the program each year. Participants are selected via an audition process that is held in the Spring. Click HERE to find out more about PAYA.

Ghostlight Theatre Ensemble is thrilled to offer two academies to serve our community:
Both of these programs support our mission - to entertain, educate and enrich our circle of local communities by offering diverse and quality theatrical experiences.
Performing Arts Senior Academy (PASA)

The Performing Arts Senior Academy is an 8-week program intended for seniors (55+) of varying experience - beginners to accomplished - providing great fun in a comfortable, no-pressure atmosphere. Each week, participants learn/review basic acting techniques through group games and other fun activities. During the last several weeks of the class, participants work in small groups to rehearse a short play that will be performed upon conclusion of the academy. If desired, participants can perform their play Reader's Theatre style - memorizing is not necessary. To find out more about PASA, contact Artistic Director Kathryn Lopez at
